Teri Hart
Teri Hart is a seasoned learning executive, work futurist and author of “Hardwired to Learn: Leveraging the Self-Sustaining Power of Lifelong Learning.” Teri’s goal is to inspire others to envision and realize a better future through the pursuit of lifelong learning. She explores the intersection of learning and neuroscience to identify approaches to enhance natural learning capabilities.
Teri has been a leader in the learning and development field across a range of industries at Fortune 500 and Fortune Global 500 companies. Having held roles at companies like GE, McKinsey and Discover Financial Services, Teri has personally worked on leadership and learning programs affecting hundreds of thousands of employees throughout her 25-plus years of experience in learning and development. She’s currently head of talent development at Zurich North America and serves as adjunct faculty at Marquette University.
Truly embracing lifelong learning, Teri holds a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, an MS in Education from Indiana University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
Teri lives in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, with her Sheepadoodle, Lily, and enjoys time with her family, yoga, hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities.
